Three Reasons Why Getting Bad News In Your Psychic Reading Is A Good Thing

by Mary Trettenero in , February 8th, 2016

It seems like a simple request when you sit down for your psychic reading to ask the intuitive or medium not to tell you anything bad. Some psychics are happy to honor your request not to upset you. Here are three reasons, however, why not wanting to know anything bad may negatively affect your psychic reading.

1) Psychics are trained not to interpret the sensitive information they receive.

You must know that seers aren’t omnipotent. They don’t know your entire life story when they read for you. By directing the psychic not to tell you anything bad, you’re asking that psychic to know enough about you to interpret what information may upset you. Interpreting is precisely what psychics are trained not to do. In essence, you’re giving away your power by having information that you might need to know filtered out of your reading.

For example- a psychic may tell that they see that you will be leaving your job. You might be thrilled because that’s your plan or you might be horrified. A psychic might say they see a preventable car accident. That sounds bad but maybe you really need to know this because you’re driving on bald tires. If you come for a reading – you need to let the psychic read for you. If you’ve taken the time to choose a psychic like you do other reputable service providers, allow them to use their professional expertise about the information that comes up in your session.. If you’re not connecting with what the psychic is saying- that is a topic all by itself and for a future article.

2) Intuitive information defies logic.

When you say you don’t want to hear anything bad, you’re being logical. It seems reasonable to ask the psychic not tell you anything bad. However, the information you get in a reading isn’t obtained through the psychic’s logic, it comes through their intuition, the spirit world, or spirit guides, or all three, and that’s why certain information is prioritzed. In addition, most psychic readers read with the intention to provide information that is for your highest good and the highest good of those around you.

Psychic readers who work with integrity

Readers who have integrity don’t eliminate information just because a client doesn’t want to hear anything bad. If readers screen out information because it’s too controversial or confrontational, then what is the sense in getting a reading? At the same time, a psychic needs to be aware if there is a sensitive subject and what they’re saying to you..

3) Psychics know that the future is dynamic

In your reading, though you may hear something you don’t like, you can change the future by being proactive, making different decisions, and taking different actions. Usually, when someone says that they don’t want to hear anything bad, it’s because they think a reading is for entertainment purposes only and want to keep it light and fun. (Yes, if you're getting a reading during a party, or enjoyable and light- hearted event).

Some people think that the future is set in stone so why tell them anything upsetting that they can’t change? I believe, that in truth, there are few things that an individual can’t change about the future compared to the many things a person can change. If you hear something bad, that you don’t want to happen, you have the free will to make different choices.

Changing your mind can change your future.

If your psychic follows your instructions and screens out information they might think is bad, you may miss an opportunity to do a course correction. Changing your mind and making a different choice means changing your future so something better can happen.
