The answer may be comparing apples to oranges.
I sometimes meet clients who believe the terms “psychic” and “medium” are readily interchangeable. While it just so happens I am both a psychic and a medium, it’s really important for my clients – as well as anyone else who wants help connecting with their loved ones lost – to know the difference.
What’s the difference between a psychic and a medium?
The main difference is that mediums communicate directly with spirits in the afterlife.
You see, psychics use their intuition and psychic abilities to sense the past, present, and future of a person by tuning into the vibrational energy of that person. Mediums also use their intuition and psychic abilities to sense the past, present, and future of a person. Additionally, they tune into the spirit energy surrounding that person.
Should I see a psychic or a medium?
If you would like to get a reading of your life, past, present and future, you can consult a psychic. If you choose to see a psychic to only find out what your future holds (which I don’t recommend) know that you have free will. You can change your future by making a shift in your current thoughts and actions.
Now, if what you want is to communicate with someone who has passed away, you should consult a medium.
Can a medium tell my future?
A medium is able to communicate with the spirits that surround you. Because spirits are not confined by the limitations of our physical bodies and our physical world, a spirit may be able to reveal a possible future. Spirits are not God, nor are they all knowing. Even a spirit can get it wrong.
I have a favorite saying that is attributed to the great American medium, Edgar Cayce, “The only thing a dead Methodist is – is a dead Methodist. Spirits are fallible. They can’t know the future 100%.”
